In April 2019, The United States Patent and Trademark Office granted a patent to Emplicure for its patch technology. Today, Emplicure's continuation application has been approved and this means that the protection for Emplicure's transdermal patch with abuse deterrent properties for the treatment of chronic pain further strengthens.
